Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney might have his hands full with PETA and other animal lovers after events involving his family dog from over 20 years ago resurfaced. Apparently, Romney took his family dog, an Irish Setter named Seamus, on a 12-hour car trip in 1983. . .tied to the roof of his car. Yes it is true that Seamus was insulated in an “air tight crate container” of come sort. And, as you will see from the interview he gave to Fox TV, Seamus actually “would jump up onto the roof into the crate himself.” I am not sure how he managed to lock himself in for the more than 11 hours of car riding on the chilly trip to the Vermont ski mountain region.
